The next meeting
- When
- Sunday 29 Aug 2027, 10:30
- Where
- Ground-floor common hall, Gulmohar CHS
- On the agenda
- Special general body: select the developer from the 4 opened bids
Quorum and vote rules
For the meeting to count
At least 32 of the 48 members present
For a developer to be chosen
At least 25 members vote for it, more than half of all members
The bars stay empty until attendance and votes are recorded at the meeting.
If no developer gets 25 votes
Nobody is chosen in the first round. The two developers with the most votes go to a second vote at the same meeting. If neither gets 25 votes then, the committee calls another special general body meeting within 30 days to vote again on the same opened bids. Nobody can change a bid in between.
Your society's rule, from the tender document the general body approved on 18 Apr 2027.
How you vote
Your society's rule, from the tender document the general body approved on 18 Apr 2027.
- Each flat has one vote, whatever its size. If a flat has joint owners, the first name on the share certificate votes.
- Sign the attendance register at the door. You get a ballot paper with the four developers in the order the bids were opened.
- Tick one developer and put the paper in the ballot box. The PMC and the deal team count the votes in front of everyone, on video.
- Proxies are not allowed. An associate member named on your share certificate can vote for you with a letter you have signed.
The meeting is video recorded, as the 79A guidelines require. Each member's vote is recorded here afterwards.
